Fire Risk Assessment Guidance Documents

Download the Guide for your premises:

Available for free download from the web-site of Her Majesty's Government, these guides are for all employers, managers, occupiers and owners of non-domestic premises.  They have been written to provide guidance to the Responsible Person (as defined within the Fire Safety Order 2005), to help them to carry out a fire risk assessment in less complex premises.

If you read the guide and decide that you are unable to apply the guidance, then you should seek the expert advice of a competent person.  Turnbull Fire Consultancy Ltd is ideally positioned to offer such expert advice.

Fire Safety in Purpose-Built Blocks of Flats:

Available for free download from the Local Government Group web-site. The Local Government Group has led work to develop important new sector-led guidance on fire safety in purpose-built blocks of flats.  This was after landlords voiced a number of concerns about how best they can deliver an appropriate level of fire safety in purpose-built blocks of flats.

The Local Government Group has worked alongside local authorities, private sector landlords and management agents, housing and environmental health professionals and fire and rescue services to produce this guidance.

If you are responsible for fire safety in residential blocks of flats and require support in the application of the codes of practice to your premises then Turnbull Fire Consultancy Ltd is qualified to assist you.
