Paul Turnbull



Paul Turnbull has served a full career in the Fire and Rescue Service, having risen to the role of Group Manager whilst specialising in all aspects of Fire Safety and serving as a Fire Investigation Officer.  Paul played a significant part in raising the profile of fire safety in heritage buildings within the Service and in creating an understanding of the sympathetic approach required to address fire safety shortcomings without detriment to the historic fabric where possible.

Paul is the founder of and senior consultant for Turnbull Fire Consultancy Ltd, a consultancy that combines a thorough knowledge of the law and the guidance documents with pratical investigative experience, as well as combining a comprehensive understanding of fire safety principles with a sympathetic approach to complex buildings.
