20.10.17 Man and three dogs rescued from house fire


Two crews from Cambridge fire station were called to the blaze at Fulbourn Old Drift on Friday 20th October 

Fire fighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.  

A spokeswoman for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service stated: “Using breathing apparatus and a hose reel, fire fighters extinguished the fire and used positive pressure ventilation to clear the smoke.

“They rescued one male casualty from the house and three dogs. The cause of the fire was accidental.”
