“Crew from Rochdale, Littleborough, Heywood, Hyde and Oldham were at the scene for several hours.

“Fire investigation officers are now liaising with Greater Manchester Police to look into the cause.  Greater Manchester Police are investigating the matter.”

One crew remained on the scene until Tuesday lunchtime damping down the wreckage.
