Fire fighters called to Keston house fire 15th January 2016

Man dies as two escape house fire.

Fire fighters attended a fire at a house on Leaves Green Road in Keston, Bromley, early during the morning of 15th January.

Two men left before the arrival of the Brigade and were treated for smoke inhalation by London Ambulance Service.  Sadly a third man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Half of the first floor was damaged by fire.

Four fire engines and 21 fire fighters from Biggin Hill, Addington and Bromley fire stations attended the incident.

At this early stage, and while the cause of the fire is still under investigation by LFB investigators and police forensics officers, the fire is being treated as unexplained.
